Use
Application component: LO-HU
You can use the Business Add-In BADI_HU_PRINT to react to the function Print Label for a handling unit. Any information about a handling unit that should be printed on a label is contained in the parameters Handling_Unit and HU_Positionen. The parameter PRINTER contains the name of the printer that is stored in the packing station profile for this packing station.
If the handling unit was created for a delivery, then the parameters DELIVERY and PARTNER contain information about the delivery.
If the Business Add-In specifies that the label print should not be continued using the standard coding, you can trigger the exception DO_NOT_CONTINUE.

Standard settings
- The Business Add-In is not active in the standard system.
- The Business Add-In can be used more than once.
Recommendation
Activities
To activate the Business Add-In, you must create an active implementation. To do this, go to Customizing for the component Handling Unit Management and choose System Modifications -> Business Add-Ins in Handling Unit Management.

Note that the Business Add-In can be used multiple times and therefore all active implementations are called and run through.
Further notes
The method BADI_HU_PRINT is called up each time the function Print Label is triggered for a handling unit.
