Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Commodity Pricing Engine (CA-GTF-CPE) component. You can use this BAdI to define a customer-specific logic (read until routine) according to which the system determines the point in time until which it should take market data for commodities or currencies into account.
This BAdI is called during the CPE formula evaluation process.
Requirements
You have defined the required routines and corresponding descriptions for the commodity pricing engine (CPE) in the Customizing activity Define CPE Routine for the submodule 16, Read Until Routine.
You have specified the valid read until routine in the Customizing activity Define Period Determination Rule.

Example
You have used the BADI_CPE_FE_PERIOD_DET_ROUTINE BAdI for a period determination routine to define the time period from March 1st to April 30th for evaluating stock market quotations. You create a sales order on March 10th and want the system to only read exchange rates up to March 10th so as not to have a negative influence on system performance. To do so, you define the current system date as the read-until date. The system does not evaluate exchange rates for the entire period until after April 30th.
