Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) lets you check, the ICPM code of a procedure.
In the default implementation, the system checks whether the ICPM code contains "5-". However, you can tailor this check to meet the customer's specific requirements.
Requirements
Standard settings
As a rule, you do not need to write your own source code in this connection. Only if you wish to implement checks different to the ones mentioned above will you have to write your own source code.
The BAdI has a default implementation, and, as such, is active by default.
If an ICPM code of a procedure contains "5-", this usually points to a surgical procedure: According to ICPM, almost all operative procedures start with "5-", in contrast to diagnostic procedures. If a movement is a surgery, and the check determines that the associated ICPM code does not in fact contain "5-", this could indicate that the documentation contains errors or is incomplete.
