Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) lets you check all the objects that are available to you in the DRG Work Station (transaction code NPDRG2).
These objects are:
- The case data
- The patient data
- All movements for the case
- All procedures for the case
- All diagnoses for the case
- All grouping results for the case.
Note that you cannot modify the objects themselves. This BAdI lets you check the actual objects or check dependencies between the objects, and, if relevant, return warnings, information messages, or error messages via a message table.
If the message table contains at least one message with the error type "E", the system prevents the data from being saved. Saving is only possible when you have corrected the error in question.
If you have created an implementation for this BAdI, the system executes the BAdI in the DRG Work Station only when the Check and Save functions are executed. This means that when errors occur, the user can go to the tab page containing the incorrect data and correct it.

In your implementation, you can check the patient's weight in relation to his or her age, for example.
You can issue error messages if certain combinations of diagnoses and procedures are not valid, or if procedures or diagnoses are missing.
