Use
You use scenarios to group Customizing settings that belong to a scenario. You assign all scenarios that belong to a business area to a solution.
For example, you assign the scenarios production pallet tracking and vehicle order tracking to the solution Automotive , to specify that these scenarios can be used with the SAP industry solution mySAP Automotive.
You can define your own solutions and scenarios in addition to those that are predefined by SAP.
By assigning the settings to scenarios, you specify that a user, who you assign to a scenario, can use the Customizing objects (for example, event types, extractors) that are relevant to this scenario. As a result, you limit the data that is displayed to scenario-relevant data only.
Note
Those settings that you do not assign to a scenario can be seen by all users.
