Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Plant Maintenance (PM) component, for archiving equipment. The BAdI applies to the archiving object PM_EQUI.

You can use this BAdI in the preprocessing program for archiving, to check whether additional data for the equipment can be archived.
