Use
To select data based on customer criteria, you can define (DDIC) structures for the following three transactions:
- Display and management of segments (PFO_SEG)
- Display and management of assignments between business objects and segments (PFO_GZO)
- Display and management of assignments between assignment objects and segments (PFO_SZO)
The entries made on the interface are converted into a WHERE condition, which is standard procedure for structures delivered by SAP, and transferred to the corresponding BAdI method, depending on the transaction. The data to be displayed can then be selected on the basis of the WHERE condition.
Note
The display structure cannot be changed. It is always the standard structures of PFO_SEG, PFO_GZO and PFO_SZO that are displayed, depending on the particular transaction. However, customer enhancements can be added.
Requirements
You have to create a BAdI implementation to be able to select data based on customer selection criteria.
Standard settings
The following structures are defined for selections:
- PFO_S_SEGCOMM to display and manage segments
- PFO_GZO to display and manage assignments between business objects and segments (PFO_GZO)
- PFO_SZO to display and manage assignments between assignment objects and segments
Activities
If you wish to select data on the basis of your own criteria, define an appropriate structure or table name in the DDIC and create a BAdI implementation.
