Use

In this activity you make the necessary settings to create a logistics processing link from SAP Waste and Recycling to the billing component of Sales and Distribution (SD).

To do this you must make the following settings:

  • Allocate service types from SAP Waste and Recycling to the service products. This allocation can be used within the service frequency transaction to carry out checks on the permissibility of service types, and to preassign values to fields.
  • Allocate confirmation fields (quantity fields) to the service product subitems. This ensures that the correct value is transferred from the waste disposal order item to the debit memo request during the course of the confirmation. You can then select the items of the material BOM for the service product as subitems. If you have not defined a material BOM for the service product, you must enter the service product itself as the subitem, and allocate a confirmation field to the service product.

    Furthermore, you can indicate a subitem as Waste. Subsequently, during the confirmation, a check is carried out to find out whether the confirmed waste is permitted for this subitem.

  • Allocate permissible waste to the subitem, which you indicated as waste-relevant in the previous step. If you allocate waste to a subitem that you have not indicated as waste-relevant, this will have no effect.

    You can allocate concrete waste (material master) or waste fractions (material group) to the subitem. Note, that a mixture of waste and waste fractions is not possible. To create a link with the variant configuration of the service product you can allocate a characteristic value from the service product class to the waste/waste fraction. This allows you to link a characteristic with a concrete waste.

  1. Use transaction OISD to maintain service products.
  2. Use the activity Define Service Types to maintain service types.
  3. Use the activity Define Waste Fraction to maintain waste fractions.
