In this IMG activity you define IDoc register types. You do this by allocating the register types defined in Device Management (IS-U-DM) to internal register types in Intercompany Data Exchange (IS-U-IDE).

This is necessary because a different service providers indicate register types in different ways.

You use the internal IDE register type for the function module that you activated for the USG_IN_ACT processing event. In the function mod ule you define how to process the transmitted consumption data.
