In this IMG activity, you maintain the two-level determination of the tax determination code for cash accounting and bill accounting.

The process flow of the two-level determination is as follows:

  • Determination of the previous tax determination code in posting area R001.
  • Determination of the final tax determination code, based on the previous tax determination code and tax determination procedure from contract account (bill or cash accounting) in posting area R008.

    Note: The sales tax code itself is determined based on the posting date and the final tax determination code.

In comparison to the single-level tax determination:

  • Determination of tax determination in posting area R001.
  • Determination of sales tax code based on the posting date and tax determination code from posting area R001.
