In this IMG activity you assign selection methods, line layout variants, list categories and sorting variants to cluster builder profiles.
The cluster builder profile is the only parameter that permits cluster builder differentiation. This means that the profile is set when you call up the cluster builder for account balance in the Customer Interaction Center (CIC).
During cluster builder processing, the system finds the parameters you defined in this Customizing activity for each profile. These parameters are used to process the date in the account balance.
All parameters are optional. Their specification depends upon event 7101.
The individual parameters are explained as follows:
- Selection method
The FI-CA event 7101 uses the selection method. You use this parameter to access data linked to FI-CA documents. SAP provides an example of using two different values from the selection method in the module FKK_SAMPLE_7101_IMPLEMENTATION.
- Selection method 01 generates a single-level account balance. This is displayed the same as if generated by transaction FPL9.
- Selection method 02 generates a two-level account balance. The first level contains FI-CA document headers and the second level contains document items.
- List category
One of the list categories which you created in IMG activity Define list category.
- Line layout variant
One of the variants which you created in IMG activity Define line layout variants for account balance.
- Sorting variant
One of the variants which you created in IMG activity Maintain sorting variants.
Example
Requirements
You must have created the line layout variant, list category and sorting variant already.
You must have assigned a CIC view identifier to the cluster builder profile in table EWVIEW.

Assign a selection method, a line layout variant, a list category and a sorting variant to a cluster builder profile. Ensure that the specification for the FI-CA event 7101 can process these parameters.
