In this IMG activity, you establish settings to determine which process the system uses to deal with changes and messages entered by the customer via the internet. You can choose between the following parameters:
- Direct updates
As long as no errors occur, the changes are effective in the system immediately. An agent does not have to inspect the changes.
- Workflow. No direct updates
The changes start a workflow, and a work item is generated in the agent's worklist. The agent can then inspect the data and have it copied to the system.
