In this section you define the parameters for the automatic creation of Sales and Distribution (SD) customers for business partners in IS-U.
If you wish to use information about your utility customer in the standard components as well, it is appropriate to manage the IS-U business partner as an SD customer. To simplify the procedure, begin by creating one or more SD reference customers. These serve as a reference for the automatic creation of an SD customer for the IS-U business partner. The naming convention for the reference customers ensures that only certain reference customers can be used as valid references for creating the IS-U business partner in SD.
When a reference customer is specified, the automatic creation of SD customers is controlled by means of characteristics, such as "parallel customer is required for business partner" or "system action if customer already exists for partner".

Enter a four-character abbreviation (e.g. MUST). Valid reference customers are those that begin with these four characters.
