In this IMG activity you define the main transactions and subtransactions for returns. The costs resulting from a bank return are charged to whoever caused the return. Return items are always assigned to an account, independently of a division. Allocate these transactions to one or more company codes but to no division.

Standard settings

SAP supplies the following transactions:

  • Internal main transaction: 0070 (returns)
  • Internal subtransactions:
    • 0010 (return expenses receivable 1)
    • 0011 (return expenses receivable 2)
    • 0020 (statistic return expenses receivable 1)
    • 0021 (statistic return expenses receivable 2)

Further notes

Convert the statistic receivables to charge rates in posting area 1010.
