Use
In this IMG activity, for each credential type you assign an ID for a Content Repository (for the ArchiveLink). This determines the archive (storage location) for the respective document. The identification of the document is based on the credential type, the credential description and the ID of the credential assignment.
Requirements
The ID for the Content Repository is already defined in Customizing under SAP NetWeaver -> Application Server -> Basis Services -> ArchiveLink -> Basic Customizing -> Define Content Repositories (transaction OAC0).
Standard settings
For the archiving of documents or files (see function module CRD_DOCUMENT_ARCHIVE_RFC), it is assumed that the document type that you determine in Customizing under SAP NetWeaver -> Application Server -> Basis Services -> ArchiveLink -> Basic Customizing -> Edit Document Types matches the extension of the file that is transported.
Examples:
For file ExampleName1.doc, document type DOC is used.
For file ExampleName2.pdf, document type PDF is used.
