Use
In this IMG activity you determine how credential descriptions are defined.
Credential descriptions are stored in tables to which you assign attributes in the construction of the application.
Requirements
Standard settings
For normal credential types, the entry DefType = STD_CRED is used in the standard delivery, and for referencing credential types DefTyp = STD_AFF is used.
Activities
Determine your own methods to define credential descriptions, if applicable.
Note that the editing tools of the SAP standard delivery have been defined for the standard method. If you want to define your own methods, you have to perform certain follow-up activities.
If you want to use Credentialing together with an existing quality catalog, you should check if it is feasible to include your own credential types in this catalog.
We recommend in this case that you define your requirement descriptions for the existing catalog.
