Here, you have to define all characteristics from the field catalog. The Create Report Type activity entered default values, which you should check. Each characteristic has to be entered at least for itself. If it is dependent on other characteristics, they must be entered in the correct order.
Example
The month field is dependent on the year field. Without the assignment of month to year, the drilldown report cannot determine which month is meant.
This dependecy needs to be defined as follows:

If the characteristic's dependency is not maintained, the drilldown report displays a line with totals for each month when you drilldown to the month level. However, the lines contain the total of all amounts from this month from all previous years. If the dependency is properly maintained, one line is output per month and year.
