Use

In this activity you define segment types.

To define a certain quantity of objects as a segment, you first need to create a segment type.

The segment type determines the object type that is the target of the segment creation, and the criteria that is to be used for determining partial quantities.

Requirements

You do not have to carry out this activity (defining segment types) for the functions of portfolio assignment (and the related function of segment assignment) that are provided as of release ERP2005.
