As contractual participation is based on participation roles, you need to maintain the participation agreement for the relevant standard contracts (the standard contract to which the higher-level commission contract refers).

Participation Role - Active Versions

You can make the changes here.

  1. Choose New entries or Change.
  2. Enter a name for the role (maximum three characters).

    In the Version column, the system assigns a version number that increases by one each time you make a change. A new object has version number one. This is also increased by one each time you make a change.

  3. Use the input help to select the entitlement category.

    If you want the participation role to lead in the management splitting, set the Main part. ind. indicator. You can only do this once in each corresponding participation constellation.

    If you want the participant to operate independently of others, set the IndPrt indicator (individual participation). This indicator must always be set for main participation in the management splitting.

    If you want the participation role to refer to a higher-level main role, use the value help under H-L role to select the higher-level role.

  4. You need to enter the effective validity from and the effective validity to dates so that the contract version for the current time-spot can be used for settlement.

    If required, you can enter the name of the participation role under Name. This is the role in which the commission contract partner is participant in a commission case (for example, agent or consultant).

  5. Choose Save.
