In this activity you maintain remuneration groups.
A remuneration group is a classification of the various remuneration types. You assign these to the remuneration groups here.
Example
Example 1:
Remuneration groups can, for example, be used to set up totals tables thematically.
To avoid posting to the remuneration totals tables so that, for example, only remunerations from life insurance are posted to totals table <appl>_sumre02 and only remunerations from the health insurance are posted to totals table <appl>_sumre03, you could use the relevant user exit (Event 2001) to only allow posting to total table <appl>_sumre02 if the remuneration group is <LI> (remuneration group LI for remuneration from the life insurance area).
Example 2:
There is only one totals table.
The remuneration group is given a key, which you can then use to select the corresponding remuneration amounts simply and quickly.
