Use
In this IMG activity you define separation rules for partnerships and assign them appropriate explanatory short texts. In the IMG activity Configure Partnership Types, you then assign the separation rules to partnership types. You use separation rules when you create partnership types to document, for example, how to handle joint entitlements or portfolios in the event of the partnership coming to an end.
The contract clerk can assign two separation rules that are defined in Customizing for a partnership type to a single partnership. One rule is intended for the scheduled ending of the partnership, and the other for its unscheduled ending. These two assignments are optional.
If no rule is assigned to a partnership in the event of its unscheduled ending, the system looks to see if a rule has been identified as the standard rule to be used in assignments of separation rules to partnership types. If so, this standard rule applies.
