In this activity, you assign authorization profiles to authorization groups.

Depending on the application, you assign a previously defined authorization profile to an existing authorization group. In doing so, you can determine how long this assignment is to be valid.

Example

For unlimited validity, enter the date 12.31.9999 in the To-date field.

Requirements

You must first create the appropriate commission processing clerk:

  • In the commissions menu: Master data -> Commission processing clerk -> Create

Before you can assign authorizations for employees, you have to make the following settings in the SAP Standard menu:

  • Tools -> Administration, then User maintenance -> Authorization
  • Tools -> Administration, then User maintenance -> Profile
  • Tools -> Administration, then User maintenance -> User

The authorization profiles are configured.

The quantifying authorization groups have been created.
