Use

You need to give the application a name according to the naming convention.

Activities

  1. Enter the technical description and a short description for the application.

    The description should be six characters long (minimum length: three) and must be in the customer name space, thus beginning with Y or Z. The first three characters must be letters, the rest can be either letters or numbers.

  2. Choose Execute (F8).

    The system displays the dialog box Choose Package for Generated Application Objects. The application name is defaulted, but you can choose another one if required. If the package does not exist, it is automatically created. If this is the case, you are asked for a transport request.

    If your application is the first one to be created in the system, a further dialog box appears with the title Package for Cross-Application Generated Objects.
