You can define your own function modules to enable a flexible check that does not require modification.
Use
Function Module
Enter the function modules that are to be used during the commission contract check.
Date Indicator
The commission contract is checked for the contract end date. If the commission contract is not yet effectively at an end, nothing is archived.
Waiting Period Indicator
The commission contract is checked for the liability period. The liability period is the period of time in which cancellation cases can still be expected after the commission contract partner has left the company. The liability period can be set to the length of the contract, or you can set it according to your requirements.
Activities
- Choose New Entries or Change.
- Enter the name of the function module.
- Set the required indicators.
- Choose Save.
Further notes
Effectively end commission contract automatically
Commission contracts that you have ended must be effectively valid in the system if commission is still to be paid out, or if the commission contract is still in the liability period. You can use the CACS_END_CTRT transaction to effectively end the commission contracts automatically. The system then runs the standard checks and the checks that you have specified for your company in the Customizing settings. For performance reasons, SAP recommends that you archive commission contracts that have ended.
Archive commission contracts
Incentive and Commission Management finds the data that can be archived for each application. You can archive your own tables as well as those from Incentive and Commission Management. Archiving always checks the complete object and its subobjects. The complete object can be archived only once all the subobjects have been checked. Incentive and Commission Management is delivered with standard checks, but you can also define your own checks if required.
If the checks in the standard system provide a negative result, the data cannot be archived. If the check result is negative, archiving is terminated for performance reasons. A plausibility check is not run.
You can flag commission contracts for archiving in the standard system as follows:
- Manual flagging for archiving
Set the Archiving Flag indicator in the commission contract under Extras -> Archiving Flag. - Automatic processing
Call up the CACS_ARCH_CTRT transaction. The system runs all of the checks that you defined in Customizing for all of the commission contracts. If the check has a positive result, the system sets the Archiving Flag indicator for commission contracts that can be archived.
It is recommended that you schedule the automatic processing as a batch job with low priority.
