In this activity you create assignment keys. You use assignment keys to assign function modules to commission contract types. You also define the date field for the date check of commission contracts. The date check takes account of the minimum retention period of objects (minimum waiting period in days (MWP)).

Standard settings

In the standard delivery, the contract end date is determined and the minimum retention period of the objects (minimum waiting period in days) is added to this date. A function module compares the resulting date with the current date.

If the contract end date plus the minimum waiting period in days is after the current date, the data is archived (or flagged for archiving). If it is before, then no archiving takes place.

Activities

  1. Choose New Entries or Change.
  2. Assign an assignment key.
  3. Select the required function module.
  4. Enter the name of the date fields.
  5. Choose Save.
