Use
In this Customizing activity, you can set the context of the object type (the decision table or formula) based on the process type
for a particular ICM application. This cross client activity is optional.
Requirements
- The corresponding ICM application, including all cross application objects, has been generated.
- You must execute this Customizing activity before you can create the decision tables and formulas.
Standard settings
If you do not add any fields here, the system uses the default customer fields as the context of the object type.
Activities
Indicate which customer fields are used in an ICM application. These customer fields determine the context for the process type and object type in the application.
Example
You have an application, ZABC. For process type '01' (Remuneration) and object type 'D' (Decision Table), you enter the fields Division, Tariff, and Remuneration Rate as the fields used for this application.
Now, when you create a decision table for application ZABC with process type '01' (Remuneration), only the three fields Division, Tariff, and Remuneration Rate will be available as context.
You can then choose any number of fields from these three fields to create a decision table.
