Use

In this IMG activity you execute the determination analysis. Here you can analyze the results of the determination process and edit the configuration of the determination.

Requirements

You can perform the analysis either with the classic determination or the enhanced determination, however you can only edit the settings for the enhanced determination.

Standard settings

A BAdI implementation for the classic determination and the enhanced determination controls the output of the determination analysis. The classic determination analysis is displayed in an ALV grid and the enhanced determination analysis as an ALV tree control.

Activities

Carry out the following activities:

  • Select a commission application, an entry point and an application data structure. By specifying an entry point, you determine the characteristic attributes (such as commission contract) of the determination analysis that is started. This characteristic attribute determines the combination ID of the determination entry point. The entry point determines the type of results to be expected for the determination analysis.
  • Choose Continue to proceed to the next detail screen.
  • Specify if you wish to use the classic determination or the enhanced determination for this determination analysis.
  • If you do not wish to start the determination immediately, you can specify another time for the effective and technical time stamp.
  • Enter the selection data of the application data structure. The system uses this data to find entries in the selection table (with selection ID). You can enter a value, a wildcard character (*) or - if it is configured for this entry point - a predefined wild card, in each field of the application structure.
  • Choose Analyze Determination to start the analysis.

You can also perform this IMG activity with transaction Analysis of Determination (CACS_DET_ANALYSIS).
