Recommendation

Activities

1. Check the extent to which you can use the condition tables in the SAP standard system (A194 - A198).You can display the condition tables to do this.

2. Before creating a new condition table, check whether the existing fields in the field catalog are sufficient for you requirements. If you want to use a field in price determination that is not already in the standard system for this application, then you have to include the field in the catalog. You can only include fields that you have already attached to structure CACS_S_COND_CUST using the generator.

3. Define the design of the new condition table.

    - To do this, copy an existing condition table and proceed as follows:

    - Enter the name of the table that you want to create. Note that you can only choose names from the     customer name space between 501 and 900. If you do not enter anything here, the     system automatically assigns a consecutive number.

    - Create the table with a validity period.

    - Do not select a release status, as the ICM-specific concept is used instead. This is realized using     the field P_STATE.

    - Enter a description of the condition table.

    - From the list of permitted fields that are contained in the field catalog and that can be enhanced there, choose    the fields you want for the condition table.

Enter the following condition table fields, in sequence, for the valuation or liability.

  • Commission application (key field)
  • You can transfer additional key fields to the condition table at this point.
  • Version date (key field)
  • You can transfer additional data fields to the condition table at this point
  • Status (data field)

Enter the following condition table fields, in sequence, for the remuneration.

  • Commission application (key field)
  • Agreement number (key field)
  • You can add additional key fields to the condition table at this point.
  • Version data (key field)
  • You can add additional data fields to the condition table at this point.
  • Status (data field)

- Once you have selected the desired fields, go to the technical view.

- Define which fields are required on the selection screen later on during processing.

Field P_CACSAPPL should appear on the selection screen so you do not set the indicator- Field P_CTRT_XL should also appear on the screen (for performance-related remuneration).

However, field P_VERSION should not appear on the selection screen, so you have to set the indicator for this fields, and for all of the others.

4. Generate a new condition table.

Result

You have created a new condition table.

Further notes

Now enter the condition tables in the access sequence in order to create a connection between the access sequence and the condition record.
