Use
In this IMG activity you determine the calculation rules that may be used to calculate complex targets for the level of target achievement of elementary targets. The calculation rule is a characteristic of the assignment of the elementary target to complex targets; consequently different calculation rules exist for different assignments.
Processing is handled by a logical service. The logical service is called in the valuation for target agreements.
Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard delivery, a complex target is calculated in the complex valuation as a weighted total of the level of target achievements of the elementary targets.
The following two calculation rules are provided:
- The actual value is a percentage of the target value: The level of target achievement is calculated as follows - Actual value/target value*100 (rule 0001).
- The knock-out criterion for the level of target achievement is calculated with a simple formula (rule 0002):
- Actual value >/= target value ==> Result: 1
- Actual value < target value ==> Result: 0
It is very important to use the correct calculation rule for the correct assignment of elementary targets to complex targets.
Rules 0001 and 0002 are part of the ICM standard delivery and are mapped in BAdI implementations.
If you wish to use your own calculation rules, you must first define an implementation in BAdI: Rules for Calculating Levels of Target Achievement (CACS_TGT_CALCULATION) since each additional formula should be configured as a new calculation rule in conjunction with a BAdI implementation. The two calculation rules of the standard delivery can easily be copied for a new implementation.
