Use
In this IMG activity you make settings for complex target types, depending on your application.
Requirements
- You have defined subobject types for complex target types and elementary target types. The subobject types are assigned to each other according to the assignment of the elementary target types to complex target types. If required, you have created additional subobject types that are superior to the subobject types of the complex target types. This lets you aggregate complex target types in the complex valuation.
- You have created business object categories for target agreements. You have assigned one subobject type to the business object categories of the following type:
- A subobject type that contains one or more subobject type of the complex target types
- Or a subobject type that is to be assigned to a complex target type
- You have created commission case triggers for additional commission cases for target agreements. You have assigned one business object category for target agreements to the commission case trigger. One trigger may be assigned to several complex target types. This allows these complex target types to be processed together in a commission case, as long as they are selected in an individual contract. You can define the trigger under Standard Commission Contract -> Agreements for Additional Commission Cases -> Define Trigger Types for Additional Commission Cases.
- If a superior subobject exists for the subobjects of these complex target types, the valuations of the subobjects of these target types may be aggregated in the complex valuation, on condition that the business object category that is assigned to the trigger has the same superior subobject type.
- If no superior subobject exists, the valuations of the subobjects of the complex target types cannot be aggregated in the valuation. In this case, the business object category that is assigned to the trigger, must have the subobject type of the complex target type. This subobject type must then also be assigned to the complex target types.
- If you intend to assign different subobject types to complex target types, all using the same trigger, then you must define a superior subobject and assign it to this trigger.
Standard settings
No superior subobject exists for subobjects of complex target types.
Activities
Define complex target types.
- Assign the target category, period rule, participant role, business object category and remunerating business transaction category.
- Assign a commission case trigger.
Note that the period rule of the trigger must match the period rule of the complex target, and that the trigger must be of type 'target agreements'.
