Requirements

You must have defined a sender structure and transfer rules. In addition, a sequential file with the data records to be transferred must be on the server.

Activities

  1. Specify the program (sender structure) you want to use for data transfer.
  2. Specify the physical access path of the file to be imported as well as an access path to output a file with an error log.
  3. Specify the server where the file is located.
  4. Specify the file category and format.
  5. Choose which processing steps are to be carried out during the run and how the run is to be logged.
  6. Choose "Execute".

The result will be a transfer log.

Further notes

In the test run, all activities (including number assignment) are executed but no data is posted to the database.
