Use

The RFC connection to SAP Event Management and the definition of the logical system serve as basis definitions for connecting all systems to the application system. In this IMG activity, you define which of these connected systems is an SAP Event Management system.

Activities

  1. Specify an SAP Event Management system with the corresponding logical system. You must have previously defined the logical system under Define Logical System.
  2. Specify how the application system and SAP Event Management are to communicate with each another.

    Specify the RFC connection that you defined under Define RFC Connection to SAP EM. Irrespective of whether SAP Event Management and the application system run on the same system or not, you must use qRFCs for the integration. Do not set Local. If you want to test the communication or debug, set Sync.
