Use

In this IMG activity, you specify the functions for supply chain event management relevance that you assign to application object types (see Define Used Business Process Types, Application Object Types, and Event Types).

You use these functions and their assignment to the application object types to specify:

  • For which application objects SAP Event Management (SAP EM) creates event handlers
  • For which application objects the application system sends event messages to SAP EM
  • Which extractors for transferring data to SAP EM belong to which application objects

    The following are possible extractors:

    • Extractors for expected events
    • Extractors for control parameters
    • Extractors for info parameters
    • Extractors for tracking IDs
    • Extractors for query IDs
    • Extractors for business object keys
    • Extractors for event data
    • Extractors for application object IDs
    • Extractors for queue names

Activities

Create an Event Management relevance function by defining the extractors.

Specify a function module for each extractor.

For more information about extractors, see the documentation for the relevant function module template, for example, the template /SAPTRX/QUEUE_NAME_TEMPLATE for the queue name extractor in function group /SAPTRX/FUNCTEMPL_AS.
