Use

In this Customizing activity, you assign templates and documents in a content to agents for approval in case a user makes changes to the template or document.

Requirements

You must have performed the following activities:

Standard settings

If you want to assign a document instead of a template to an agent for approval, leave the template category empty. By leaving the template category empty, one agent is assigned to approve all documents in a content. If you want to assign different agents to approve documents based on, for example, the document selection that the document was created with, implement the Business Add-In (BAdI) Change Approval Workflow.

Activities

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Select a content and template category.

Note: Only select a template category if you are assigning templates to agents for approval. If you are defining settings for a document, do not select a template category.

  1. Set the correct workflow order. The workflow order refers to the order in which approvers must go through the workflow steps.
  2. Select the user you want to assign as the approval agent for the template or document.
  3. Save your entries.
