Use

In this IMG activity, you assign users to an element category in a specific content to notify them of changes to elements belonging to this category.

Two separate entries are required to assign a user to:

  • The element category for element management in the Document Builder Cockpit
  • The element category for custom element approval in a document

Requirements

Standard settings

You must have performed the following activities:

Activities

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Specify the relevant content and element category.
  3. Set the WF Active indicator to automatically trigger the workflow function when you create a document. If you set this indicator, the element workflow applies only to custom element creation in documents. If you also want to activate the workflow for element management in the Document Builder Cockpit, you must create a separate entry and leave the indicator deselected.
  4. Set the correct workflow order. The workflow order refers to the order in which the approvers are listed in the workflow.
  5. Find the user to be assigned to the element category.
  6. Save your entries.
  7. Repeat the steps 1-6 for any further users.
