Use

In this step you define the various guidance texts, prescriptions, and references that are required for elements.

You can do the following:

  • Define a regulation set component, specify the component type (guidance, prescription, or reference) and assign it to the relevant regulation set. A regulation set component is a generic term that includes guidance, prescriptions, and references.
  • Edit text or upload a file from your local PC.
  • Specify the type of text and format.

Note

Due to the high volume of entries, we strongly recommend that you first plan a naming convention for easier maintenance and retrieval.

Activities

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter a regulation set component, that is, an element that is part of a regulation set. Components can be either prescriptions, guidance, or references.
  3. Assign the component to the relevant regulation set.
  4. Enter the effective date.
  5. Specify the component type. This can be either a guidance, a prescription, or a reference.
  6. Specify the editing format.
  7. Enter a description.
  8. Save your entries.
