Distribution data no longer up-to-date
Help Document
Diagnosis
During the generation of deliveries (asynchronously - i.e. in a separate work process) for Merchandise Distribution, the system established that the data passed on to the work process is not up to date.
This can have one of the following reasons:
- ()
No data could be read from the database for the distribution data passed on.
- ()
At least one record in the distribution data is not the same as that on the database.
System Response
The deliveries are not generated to avoid database inconsistencies.
Procedure
Re-start delivery generation with up-to-date distribution data.
You can do this as follows:
- If you started delivery generation from the transaction Merchandise Distribution: Monitor (WF30), refresh the display and re-start delivery generation.
- If delivery generation was started automatically when you saved in transaction Adjust Distribution (WF50), repeat the adjustment.
- If delivery generation was started automatically at goods receipt and the goods receipt posting was not terminated:
- Adjust the distribution manually using transaction Adjust Distribution (WF50) or Distribution Monitor (WF30).
- Re-start delivery generation in the distribution monitor.
- If you started delivery generation from the transaction Generation of Deliveries for Merchandise Distribution (WF60), repeat processing.
Notes
This situation can occur under the following circumstances:
- The calling transaction terminated posting but the transactional RFC was still started via transaction transactional RFC (SM58).
- Two users are making changes to the same distribution via transaction Merchandise Distribution: Monitor (WF30).
