Quantity optimizing not possible for material &1

Diagnosis
You want to activate quantity optimizing. This is not possible, due to one of several reasons:
- The supply source is not known. The supply source must be known before quantities can be optimized.
- Supplementary logistics services (e.g. pre-packing) leading to the generation of sub-items are relevant. In this case, quantity optimizing is never possible.
Procedure
Check your data in view of the above reasons.
