Diagnosis

The generation of deliveries for merchandise distribution partially failed.

System Response

The system as unable to generate deliveries for a part of the distribution data. As far as possible, deliveries were generated for the distribution data not affected by the errors.

Procedure

Please analyze the logs generated.

  • If the deliveries were generated online (synchronously), one or more of the following logs are available:
    • List of deliveries generated
      • If deliveries were generated, a log exists containing the numbers of the deliveries generated with the associated preceding documents and the collective processing numbers.
    • Message log for merchandise distribution
      • This contains error messages and notes concerning the distribution data.
    • Message log for deliveries.
      • This contains error messages and notes concerning the actual generation of the deliveries.
  • If the deliveries were generated in the background (asynchronously), an application log is available, which you can display using transaction application log for merchandise distribution (WF80_DEL).

    The application log contains the following information:

    • Error messages and notes concerning the distribution data.
    • Error messages and notes concerning the actual generation of the deliveries.
    • A list of the collective processing numbers generated, which you can analyze using transaction collective processing analysis (V_SA).
      • The application log was generated containing the following information:
