Help Document

Context

You want to activate the ERP 602 business function SD_01 or ESOA_OPS01.

If either one of these business functions is activated, the class-based Lean Order interface (LO API) is also enabled.

With this LO API you can use existing SD applications (such as the ISR role) or service interfaces (such as eSOA services in SD) for dialog-free, decoupled access to SD-specific document processing (inquiry, quotation, sales order).

As soon as there is an active industry business function set in the system, this business function set (or the underlying industry) must enable the LO API. This ensures that sales document processing via the LO API runs without any errors.

Diagnosis

The active business function set currently exists in the system. The owner of this business function set has not allowed usage of the LO API in the current context, however.

In this case the following reason applies :

  • The relevant SAP-internal BAdI for enabling the LO API function
  • Has not been implemented by the owner of the business function set.
  • Has been implemented more than once by the owner. This means that the implementations cannot be evaluated.
  • Has been implemented once by the owner. However, the LO API has not beenenabled for the current configuration within the business function set.

System Response

Even after the business function SD_01 or ESOA_OPS01 has been activated, the system rejects access to the LO API with the error message

unless the business function set explicitly allows use of the LO API.

The rest of the business function's features are not affected and are available as soon as the business function is activated.

Procedure

Proceed according to which of the above reasons applies:

  • If there is no BAdI implementation, contact the owner of the business function set so that they can enable the LO API.
  • If the BAdI implementation has been implemented more than once, contact the owner of the business function set so that they can enable the LO API.
  • If you need more information and reasons as to why you are not allowed to use the LO API, contact the owner of business function set .
