Could not read version in RFC connection &1 to system &2

Diagnosis

The SAP Note implementation test requires from connection a version of an object for correction instructions that belongs to a subcomponent.

System Response

The software in the version server is not yet able to calculate versions for subcomponents.

Procedure

Create an IT/IBC message for system . The processing component is usually DEV-<component-GEN>. For example, the component responsible for SAP-BASIS is DEV-NWPROD-SYS-ADM, and the component for the core is DEV-CORE-GEN. Sometimes the responsible component is noted on the logon screen (if you are logging on without Single Sign-On (SSO)). If you do not know the responsible component, your quality team can provide additional information.

Procedure for System Administration

The administrators of system need to import SAP Note 1283700 into system .
