Diagnosis
As of Release 4.01, it is specified at calalog column level whether a column contains charge factors or currency amounts. This means that the content of a column is always interpreted as either an amount or a charge factor. Mixed forms (depending on the column determination settings, the content of the column is sometimes interpreted as a currency amount and sometimes as a charge factor) are consequently no longer possible. The corresponding specification within column determination will continue to be supported for a transitional period only.
This changeover proved necessary as a preliminary to the conversion to the euro and more far-reaching foreign currency support.
The system cannot check the currency code for catalog column from catalog against the column determination since this column is not used in column determination.
