Diagnosis

You wanted to maintain inflation data. However, this requires:

• You to specify a plant or company code (depending on whether valuation at your company is at plant level or company code level)
• The view to contain the appropriate maintenance status for accounting data
• Inflation processing for materials management to be activated for the country of the plant or company code in Customizing

Note
You cannot maintain inflation data when scheduling the creation or changing of a material.

• Check the views selected.
• Ask your system administrator to check the following:
• Whether the view contains the maintenance status you require
• Whether inflation processing for materials management is activated for the relevant country in Customizing

Information for system administrators

In the IMG activity Configure customized material master, you can see what maintenance statuses a view contains by choosing Maintain screen sequences, logical screens, subscreens.
