Diagnosis
You wanted to maintain accounting data. However, this requires:
- You to specify a plant or company code (depending on whether valuation at your company is at plant level or company code level)
- The view to contain the appropriate maintenance status for accounting data

Procedure
- Check the views selected.
- If necessary, ask your system administrator to check whether the view contains the maintenance status you require.
Information for system administrators
In the IMG activity Configure customized material master, you can see what maintenance statuses a view contains by choosing Maintain screen sequences, logical screens, subscreens.
