Assignment to higher-level product group & is not possible

Diagnosis

CO product group cannot be entered as the higher-level product group for one of the following reasons:

  • Single objects are already assigned to it
  • The assignment would result in a hierarchy cycle that is not allowed

System Response

Procedure

Do one of the following:

  • Enter a different product group as the higher-level product group
  • Delete the single object assignments for product group in the master record maintenance function.
