Diagnosis

The settlement rule for contains a distribution rule with settlement type .

Because all single objects in a cost object hierarchy are settled by period, they can only have distribution rules with the settlement type PER.

System Response

Material cannot be assigned to a cost object hierarchy.

Procedure

  • Change the settlement rule for such that it only contains rules with settlement type PER, or
  • Assign a different single object to the cost object hierarchy
