Although the cost object ID you entered does exist in the system, it is not a CO product group.
System Response
The system rejects the entry.
Procedure
The objects of the following type share a namespace:
- General cost objects
- Cost object nodes in a cost object hierarchy
- CO product group
exists in this namespace, but it is not a CO product group.
- If you want to process a CO product group, enter a cost object ID that is used as a CO product group.
- If you want to process a cost object ID that:
- Is used as a costs object node in a cost object hierarchy, use the application component Product Cost by Period
- Is used as a general cost object, use the application component Costs for Intangible Goods and Services
- Is used in Activity-Based Costing, go to the application component Activity-Based Costing
