You attempted to maintain using an unsuitable function.

Procedure

The system recognizes the following objects:

Cost object IDs as cost object nodes for cost object hierarchies in the Product Cost by Period component
Cost object IDs as general cost objects in the Costs for Intangible Goods and Services component
Cost object IDs as CO product groups in the Product Cost by Order and Product Cost by Period components

To edit a cost object node in Product Cost by Period, choose Accounting -> Controlling -> Cost Object Controlling -> Product Cost by Period

To edit a general cost object, choose Accounting -> Controlling -> Cost Object Controlling -> Costs for Intangible Goods and Services

To edit a CO product group, choose Accounting -> Controlling -> Cost Object Controlling -> Product Cost by Period or Product Cost by Order
