Diagnosis
It was determined, that the characteristic has not been selected yet. This characteristic is, however, required for the key-figure .
The reason for this is that no currency-bearing characteristic exists. For example, a key-figure such as 'Turnover company currency' can exist. In this case company code is the currency-bearing characteristic. This means, that it must be fundamentally selected and specified, if the pertinant key-figure is to be used.
System Response
The characteristic was automatically selected by the system (s. screen 'characteristic selection'). As a compulsory selection is being dealt with you have the possibility of taking the selection back on this screen. This is then only possible when you have selected no more key- figures which require .
Procedure
As the characteristic must not only be selected but also specified, you should go to the 'Choose characteristics' screen and enter a fixed value or a (compulsory-) variable.
