Diagnosis

The program calls the clearing transaction FB05. The clearing data is however not valid to carry out FB05.

Procedure

There are different error causes.

  • Check the table T042K whether the entries are correct.
  • Check the field status definition of the G/L accounts which are defined in the T042K and/or the posting key, whether the default setting of the fields is correct for clearing data.
    • the fields are suppressed but the data exists
    • the fields are required entry fields but the data does not exist
  • The balance is not zero
    • The tax amount is calculated by the system, but you have entered the other amount in table T042J.
    • The posting key of the T042K is not defined correctly.
